     This page is here for you to view more images from the world of Ethöes.   At this point in time, most of the work I have displayed so far is directly related to The Legend of Oescienne series.  Sketching the characters, animals, maps and even some of the settings of my books allows me to get a better visual reference for myself and to create a more dynamic experience for my readers.  I hope that my illustrations have helped you in visualizing the world of Ethöes and more specifically, the province of Oescienne.

Interesting fact about the creatures of Ethöes:

   Several of these animals were inspired by the ideas of children.  Miss Johnson works in education and is often approached by kids with new ideas for her creations.  Some of the creatures even have characteristics that directly reflect the personality of a child she knows.
