THE LEGEND OF OESCIENNE

Hello,

     I'm very excited to announce that both books in the The Legend Oescienne series, The Finding and The Beginning, can now be found at the Halcyon Store (located at 936 South Halcyon Road in Arroyo Grande), and at 2 Sisters Books and Gifts (located at 220 West Main Street in Santa Maria).  The books can also still be found at Wisdom Island (located at 505 Orchard Road in Nipomo).

     I'd also like to mention that the first book can be checked out at the San Luis Obispo Library, and the second book should be in circulation there soon.  I've also recently donated both The Finding and The Beginning to the Arroyo Grande Library, so hopefully those will be available soon as well.

Hello Oescienne fans!

     A launch for The Legend of Oescienne - The Beginning is in the works in the near future.  Right now, the date is set for July 19th at Wisdom Island in Nipomo, CA.  I will post further when I know more.  Also, I will be taking part in the Central Coast Book and Author Festival in San Luis Obispo.  This event will be taking place on September 19th.  Again, I don't know all that much as of yet, but I will be making updates as information comes in.

     The Beginning is finally here!  You can currently purchase it from amazon.com for $21.99.  I will also be making it available in Kindle format and plan to have it and The Finding set at a bargain price for awhile (I'm having some difficulty uploading the file at the moment, so please be patient).  Keep checking in either here or on amazon to see if the Kindle version is ready.  Until then, happy reading!

      Hello everyone, I don't have much to report on this end, but the editing on The Beginning is coming along slowly but surely.  I currently have the proof copy and I hope to have it available for purchase by this summer, but with hopes of releasing it somewhere near mid May.      

     This coming weekend (April 24th - 25th) is the Los Angeles Festival of Books to be held on the UCLA campus.  Although I will not be presenting, I will be there to check things out.  If you see me, please be sure to say hello!  Until next time, happy reading!

     Hello readers!  It's been a while since I've posted any news, but I've been keeping very busy as I begin to wrap up the editing for book two, The Beginning.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be available in the next few months (it all depends on how quickly my 'editors' get through it). 

     At the moment, I have just a few more chapters to double check, then I'll be sending it off to be proof read.  In the mean time, I've posted the ENTIRE prologue here on the website on the 'Books' page.  Just scroll down and you should find it.  Until then, happy reading!

     Hello Everyone,

    Like I said in my last update, this coming weekend (Saturday December 5th), I'll be at Wisdom Island for their Holiday Happenings event.  There will be local authors, artists and musicians there, as well as coffee, tea and snacks (I plan on making a gingerbread cake for the occasion). 

     The festivities start at 2pm, so feel free to stop on by to check out what the store has to offer or just to chat.  I'll also be giving out free coloring sheets of the creatures of Oescienne while supplies last.  Wisdom Island is located at 505 H Orchard Road in Nipomo, CA 93444.  Hope to see some of you there!

     Hello everyone! 

     It's been a while since I've posted any news, but I do have something exciting to announce.  I'll be making an appearance at a local store, Wisdom Island, on December 5.  I'll be available for signings and perhaps a reading (I'll post more information as details unfold). 

     Furthermore, acting on the advice of my wonderful cousin, I'll be adding illustrations to 'The Finding'.  They'll be small and, when they're finished, will be placed on the first page of each chapter of the book.  I'll be posting previews and works in progress here and on the Legend of Oescienne fansite on facebook.  Be sure to check them out and leave feedback!  Until next time, have a good evening and happy reading!

Hello Everyone,

    This past Sunday was the Book and Author Festival in San Luis Obispo, and I just want to say I had a blast!  I met lots of people, both readers and authors and those just interested in what was going on.  I also had the opportunity to read from my book, something that was very terrifying and thrilling at the same time.  It went very well and I do believe I'm getting over my stage fright. 

     I'm currently researching more book festivals and conventions that are relatively nearby (no more than eight hours away by car), and I'll be sure to update you on any I'll be attending.  Before I go, I want to give a special thanks to my friends Laura and Nino for spending the day with me; I can't wait until next year!

     It's been a while since I've posted any news, so I'll fill you in with what's been going on so far.  I've been working on the second book in the series, The Beginning, and I've also been in the works to get The Finding up on amazon (the physical book edition). 

     Also, I've received word that my request to do a reading at the Central Coast Book and Author Festival has been accepted, so if you want to come and hear an excerpt, be sure to stop by.  I'm not quite sure at what time I'll do the reading and I'm not certain if there is a set time.  If I find out any more information I'll be sure to let you know.  Hope all is going well with you and, as always, happy reading!

Hello Everyone,

     It's been a long summer and it is nearly over, so I thought I'd give you an update on what is going on in the world of Ethöes.

      The Finding is currently available, with the new cover design, from Lulu.com for $15.00 and from amazon.com (for the Kindle only), for $4.29.  I recently had a sale on the Kindle version and have sold quite a few, so I'm feeling optimistic (and a little nervous), of how it will ultimately be received by readers. 

      On a side note, I have registered for the Central Coast Writers' Conference that will be taking place on October 2nd-3rd.  Hopefully I'll be able to meet some more authors and see some old friends from last year.  Also, on Saturday October 4th, I'll be at the Central Coast Book and Author Festival. 

     I'll update this news page when I know more about the specifics.  Until then, happy reading!

Hello Everyone,

     I've been really busy the past few weeks, but I have found time to work on a new book cover image.  I love my old image, but I have been told by quite a few people that it would be better to have a dragon on my cover, since dragons play a major role in my book.  I hope the new cover reflects what can be found inside.

     I have also fixed a few typos I stumbled upon.  I've made the margins smaller and the font larger as well.  This too, I hope, will be a positive improvement.

     Hello everyone!  I hope you're having a great summer.  This is just a quick announcement to let you all know that the website is ready for viewing.

     I received the first two copies of my book and they look great.  I picked the one with the larger title running down the spine and have just made it available on Lulu.com.  It may take twenty four hours for it to show up on Lulu's search engine, but I've inserted a link directly to my book on the Books page of this site.  It should take you right there, but if it doesn't let me know.
