THE LEGEND OF OESCIENNE

All of the books in The Legend of Oescienne series will be in the fantasy genre.  Since the story takes place in a world completely disconnected from our own, it is considered high fantasy.

The Finding is now available at Lulu.com as a paperback book and on  amazon.com as a paperback and digital book for the Kindle.  The Beginning can be purchased from amazon.com in paperback format.

The Finding is also available from Wisdom Island (located on the corner of Orchard and Division Rd. in Nipomo, CA), 2 Sisters Books and Gifts (located at 220 W. Main St. in Santa Maria, CA) and the Halcyon Store (located at 936 S. Halcyon Rd. in Arroyo Grande, CA).

This particular series is primarily aimed at a middle-grade audience (children ages 10 and up).  However, it is appropriate for younger, ambitious readers and those of us who enjoy the fantasy genre, no matter what age it is written for.

I have the manuscript for book two, The Beginning, complete.  Once the editing and cover design are finished, it will be made available.  I am aiming for the fall, but there are no guarantees.

The Finding is my first novel.

Absolutely.  I have several other books, some parts of series, some stand alones, that I am working on whenever I get a free moment.  Some of them are children's picture books, some of them are novels more appropriate for older readers.  These books are also in the fantasy category.

The reason a physical book is more expensive than the digital version all boils down to the cost of manufacturing.  A digital book can be downloaded directly to your computer or your Kindle without the expense of printing or shipping it.
